London’s best Venues for Drinks with a View Saturday - 1st June 2019

Whether it’s 5.30pm on a Friday or you’re looking for a midday tipple to save you from stress, there are plenty of spots across London that’ll serve you a great drink - but not every place will come with a view. To help you find your next local, we’ve put together our selection of London’s best venues for drinks with a view. Check out these spots and let us know what you think.

12th Knot

Formerly known as Rumpus Room and situated on the 12th floor of the Mondrian Hotel, 12th Knot is a fairly well-kept secret when it comes to where to go for drinks in London. Looking out over the iconic River Thames and taking in all the majesty of St Paul’s, this is a view that’s hard to be beaten. The atmosphere is vibrant, the decor striking, and the cocktails delicious - and all of it is accompanied by live music or DJ’s, bringing the mood to life.

The Boundary Rooftop

Sit outside on a warm summer evening or watch the rainfall over the city skyline from inside the heated glass Orangery - whatever you choose, The Boundary Rooftop is sure not to disappoint. With stylish, somewhat cosy decor, you can sink into a sofa and let the afternoon pass by while sipping on a cocktail and eating excellent food. The view looks over the City and East of London, making for a beautiful backdrop.

The Dalston Roof Park

In the middle of urban Hackney sits a little oasis of greenery with pleasing views of London skyscrapers and Victorian buildings. Eat, drink, relax, or dance at this ultra-cool spot, favoured by a younger crowd generally. With special events including yoga, film screenings, and DJ’s, there’s always something different happening at The Dalston Roof Park.

SushiSamba

With the highest outdoor dining terraces in Europe and 360-degree views of London, SushiSambi is the place to go with guests. Two panoramic glass elevators will take you up to the 49th floor of the Heron Tower, where London opens up before you in a spectacular fashion. In our opinion, this is one of the best views in London and worth checking out. The decor, too, is impressive, with an open bamboo ceiling and plenty of hanging lights to create a romantic, laid-back atmosphere.

Next time you’re looking to have a drink in London, why not veer away from your regular spots and head to one of these incredible locations instead. Trust us; it’ll be worth it.
